• Posters – by 4th grade students.  Judged by 11/16/07 and 12/7/07.  Displayed countywide during 2008. 
• Historical Essays – by high school students.  Submitted for judging by 1/31/08.  Prizes ($25, $50 & $100 bonds) and publication for winners.
• Dome Poems – by the general public.  Submitted throughout 2008.  Best poems receive $25, $50 or $100 bonds, publication and reading on November 8, 2008.
• Historical Art – by high school students for display and judging in Nicolet College Gallery 9/15/08 – 10/15/08.  $25, $50 & $100 bond prizes for the winners.

• Historic geocaching – countywide.
• Centennial quilt construction, display (6/14 and 9/20/08) and raffle.
• Centennial float on Friday, July 4 parades.
• Cemetery walk – summer 2008.
• Centennial courthouse postcards and wooden nickels on sale.
• Tour of select historic homes – summer 2008.
• Saturday, September 20 – recreation of 1908 setting.
• Saturday, November 8 – reenactment of 1908 laying the courthouse cornerstone.
